Could you share some insights into your background and the initial steps you took to embark on your acting journey?
Emerging from a modest background with limited access to resources, my journey towards becoming an actor has been a transformative experience. Serendipitously, destiny paved the way for my first venture into Bollywood with the movie “Sunshine Music Tour and Travels” in 2016, where I had the privilege of working alongside Sunny Kaushal.
In your opinion, what do you consider to be the most challenging aspect of being an actress?
The most demanding aspect of being an actress is the unwavering commitment to work with passion, determination, and resilience, despite the lack of equal treatment and recognition for the relentless efforts invested. Overcoming the constant criticism surrounding this profession poses a significant challenge.
When approaching a new role, what is your preparation process like? Do you follow any specific techniques or styles?
When preparing for a new role, my personal technique entails immersing myself completely in the character’s essence, experiencing it from within, and temporarily disconnecting from my existence until the portrayal is complete. This approach allows me to genuinely embody the character and deliver a compelling performance.
Among the roles you have portrayed thus far, which one holds a special place in your heart and why?
Among the roles I have portrayed, one that holds great significance to me is the character of “Jasmeet” in “Laila Majnu.” It marked a pivotal moment in my journey as an actress, awakening a profound sense of fulfilment and tranquillity that comes with acting. It made me realize that I derive true joy from this craft, cherishing each moment it encompasses.
As an actress, what would you consider to be your most significant accomplishment?
As an actress, my most noteworthy accomplishment thus far extends beyond professional success. It has granted me the freedom to express myself, attain financial stability, explore the world, engage in social interactions, delve into uncharted territories, and above all, uphold my dignity and integrity

Balancing personal and professional life can be demanding, especially during location shoots or extended working hours. How do you manage this aspect of life?
Striking a harmonious balance between my professional and personal life necessitates a fundamental element: mutual understanding among my family, spouse, and friends. Whenever I find myself with spare time, I prioritize spending it meaningfully with loved ones and acquaintances.
How do you handle criticism or negative feedback regarding your performances?
Criticism and negativity, much like the drag force in aerodynamics, propel me forward, serving as the driving force that compels me to continually improve my performance. Embracing constructive feedback and channelling it towards enhancing my skills are essential aspects of my growth.
Can you give us a glimpse of what lies ahead in your future? Are there any upcoming projects that particularly excite you?
Anticipated opportunities in my career include featuring in a web series on Disney Hotstar, appearing in movies on platforms like Zee5 and Amazon Prime, and collaborating on music videos with prominent Bollywood singers under labels such as T-Series and Speed Records. Additionally, I am eagerly looking forward to working with esteemed production banners like Friday Filmworks and Red Chillies.
