FORLORN – A poem by Sadaf Masoodi

No way set the fire free,
ablaze the obsession, within you and me,
for that unbidden reality,
let it all be…
These are the mounts, high and low,
and with ages they don’t grow,
its no love, but a naive show.
See me burn, why be so keen?
know this love, remains a teen.

Being frozen with unheard sighs,
in such a sun, when a hard cor cries…
These are the mounts, high and low,
And with ages they dont grow,
Its no love but a naive show.
See me burn, why be so keen?
Know, this love, remains a teen.

The sea of destiny for which we weep,
its deapths dry, never go deep,
the tree of destiny that we see,
virtualities true,
and their vanishing shade,
with the metaphysical motion,
It all gets fade.
Then for what the time always tries?
For how long stones will be fed to the real cries?
But at back the soul never denies,
these are the mounts high and low,
and with ages they don’t grow,
its no love, but a naive show.
See me burn, why be so keen?
Know, this love, remains a teen.

The eternity evergreen,
for all quests on the earth tried,
side by side, they all coincide,
In concreation, outside, I go round,
and no answers down from the ground,
the perditions glorified inside rigid found,
Hell, says the world for a well being,
so, for that well, I say,
no way set the fire free,
ablaze the obssession within you and me,
for that unbidden reality,
Let it all be….
These are the mounts high and low,
and with ages they diminish not grow,
its no love, but a naive show.
See me burn, why be so keen?
Know, this love, remains a teen…

Remarkable poem Sadaf. With time some things grow within us and some fade.Maybe, because we want to cherish somethings forever and some we prefer to forget. Good job !!
